Rame en geute

Currently busy with building the frames for the front "glass wall". The frames are to support the aluminium window frames.

The test gutter at the back of the house works. The 30 mm of rain filled one of tanks with more than 2.5 kilo-litter.

Besig met die bou van die voorste rame wat die aluminium vensterrame gaan huis huisves.

Ons toets geut agter die huis werk goed. (Daar moet nog 'n paar ding vas gemaak word.) Ons dak het met 30 mm reën meer as 2.5 kl water opgevang.

Vensters het gekom - Windows arrived thanks to TECH Glass & Aluminium [tga@paco.co.za]

The windows arrived the bottom half are double glazed. (See fotos) TECH
Glass & Aluminium gave us an excellent deal! We will start with the
installation of the windows soon, but first we have to build some wooden
window frames to fit the aluminium windows in. We will also install the
front roof at this stage.

The other two project that we are busy with, is the planter and the gutter
at the back. Both projects are quite challenging. (See fotos)

Die aluminiumvensters is afgelewer. (Sien fotos) TECH Glass & Aluminium het
ons 'n geweldige afslag bewerkstellig, omdat hulle glo in die Aardskip
projek. Sodra die houtvensterrame gebou is sal ons begin met die groot taak
om die venster te instaleer. Tussendeur sal die voorste dak plate opgesit
word.

Die ander twee projekte waarmee ons besig is, is die plantebak vir die grys
water en die geut aan die agter kant van die huis. (Sien fotos)

Voorste muur fondament - Foundation of the front wall
