Actual Solar Power verus Model - aardskip.com - Werklike sonkrag versus Model.

In the graph you see the actual and theoretical solar power in kWh per kW installed PV pannels average per day every month.

In die grafieke sien u die werklike en  teoretiese sonkrag in kWh per kW geïnstalleer panele gemiddeld per dag elke maand.


The following points can be derived from the chart:
+ These model values includes a 40% loss.
+ Both values is kWh per kW installed PV pannel.
+ The panels are installed at a angle of 40 degrees.
+ The discrepancies (in. March, October) could be from weather conditions.

Effect of the PV direction on the Solar Power - aardskip.com - Effek van die sonpaneel se rigting op krag lewering

In the graphs you see the theoretical effect of the solar panel's direction on the solar power in kWh per kW in installed per day.

In die grafieke sien u die teoretiese effek van die sonpaneel se rigting op die sonkrag in kWh per kW geinstalleer per dag.


The following points can be derived from the chart:
  • [30 NS] - solar panel's angle is 30 degrees in the north-south direction on the horizon at a latitude -29.83.
  • [30 W] - solar panel's angle is 30 degrees in the western direction from the horizon.
  • [Beide] - Half of the solar panels are tilted NS and the other half is tilted in the Western direction at 30 degrees.
  • The panels tilted at a 30 degrees in the North-South direction offer the best results, Winter and Summer.
  • The panels tilted at a 30 degrees in the western direction give the worst results, an average loss of 24% per year.
  • Even a combination of panels deliver worse results, an average loss of 12% per year.
Note: Due to other losses will the practical results be about 85% of the theoretical results. Furthermore, we can assume that heat in the summer will reduce the power.

Die volgende punte kan van die grafiek afgelei word:

  • NS - Sonpaneel se hoek in die Noord-Suid rigting van af die horison by ‘n breedtegraad -29.83.
  • Elke kleur is ‘n ander hoek, blou - 20, oranje - 30, geel - 40, groen - 50 en rooi-bruin -  60 grade.
  • Die laagste hoek, 20 grade, lewer die meeste krag in die Somer maande.
  • Die hoogste hoek, 60 grade, lewer die meeste in die Winter.
  • 50 grade lewer die minste afwyking in die jaar en piek in die Lente en Herfs.
  • Die beste jaarlikse gemiddeld krag lewering is by ‘n hoek van 30 grade.

  • Each color is a different angle, blue – 20, orange - 30, yellow – 40, green – 50 and red-brown - 60 degrees.
  • The lowest angle, 20 degrees, provide the best results in the Summer months.
  • The highest angle, 60 degrees, provide the best in the Winter.
  • 50 degrees produces the least variance throughout the year and peaks in the Spring and Autumn.
  • The best annual average power is at an angle of 30 degrees.
Note: Due to losses you can expect and 85% of the theoretical figures. Furthermore, we must assume that the temperature in Summer will lower the  power output.
