Arno trying to escape through the window - Bottelvenster besig om Arno te verslind

This week started with the final ground layer of the dinning room floor. We used clayish ground and river sand and pour it like cement on top of the cob layer. Once we remove all the cracks we will oil and polish the floor.

We continued with mosaic in the kitchen and we will soon reveal the art work. In the photo you can see Arno's artwork in the westside entrance hall. We are not sure if the bottles is trying to eat him or whether he is trying to escape.

Soos julle kan sien het Arno lekker pret gehad met sy bottel-venster. Sy venster ontwerp is die Aardskip logo, die wit stel die "A"-ardskip voor, binne is groen wat die plante voorstel, buite om is die blou lug en onder is bruin (rooi) wat die grond voorstel.

Verder het ons begin met die eetkamer vloer se finale grondlaag, wat bestaan uit 1 deel kleiagtige grond en 2 dele riviersand. Die mengsel word gegiet soos sement. Volgende week sal ons die krake verwyder en daarna word die vloer geolie en gepolitoer.

Laastens is Retha besig met die mosaiek kunswerk in die kombuis en sal ons dit binnekort onthul.
