Hoeksteenlegging - Cornerstone ceremony

Our cornerstone (Bend-tire) ceremony was a great success we had more than 30 witnesses of the event. Including a Swedish/Canadian writer-team.
1. We all gather and waited for the gong to hit 17:17 on the 17th of October 2011.
2. Ludwig gave a short speech on where the idea of the earthship started.
3. The mayor of the town, Carel Boshoff propose a toast. "Good things come to those who wait."
4. Water for the toast was supplied by Jaco Mulder from Afsaal.
5. After the toast the mayor start filling the first tyre with pure Orania earth.
6. Now it was time for everybody to help with project by filling a tyre. -o0o------------------------ Afrikaans volg onder die fotos.

Ons boogbuitebandlegging het uitstekend afgeloop en meer as 30 mense was by die geleentheid.
1. Eers moes almal wag vir the klok om 17:17 op die 17e Oktober.
2. Ludwig het 'n kort toespraak gemaak oor waarom die Eversons 'n aardskip wil bou.
3. Die eersteburger van Orania het 'n heildronk ingestel. "Goeie dinge gebeur met die wat geduld het."
4. Jaco Mulder van Afsaal het die heildronk-water verskaf.
5. Daarna het die eersteburger die eerste buiteband in die boog gevul.
6. Toe het almal kans gekry 'n band te vul.
